NIGHTWATCH

NIGHTWATCH is an intimate dance installation that places a small audience within a moving black box diorama. Sited in Wildheart’s performance barn, the show amplifies and distorts the viewer’s perception of gravity, relationships, the human body, and the air space within the architecture. Shadow artists, working as both witnesses and manipulators, create textured visuals, blurring the edges between where a body ends and layers of overlapping echoes begin. The movements of dancers and musicians will at times be obscured, refracted, distilled, or exaggerated.
