Bird Song with Author Anita Sanchez In-Person

After reading her new book, A Sky That Sings, author Anita Sanchez will introduce children to the art of bird listening, as practiced in the book by Mia, a child who is blind.

Participants will listen to some recorded bird conversations, try to figure out what the birds are saying, and learn to identify some common bird calls.

For children in grades K-4, accompanied by an adult. Please register children online or in-person in the Children's Room.
