Humanist Crafternoon: Ornaments & Apple Pie Day

Join us for a Humanist Crafternoon! We’ll be decorating tree ornaments for the Everson Museum’s Festival of Trees & Light while celebrating Carl Sagan’s birthday with apple pie. Ornament-making supplies will be provided.

This is our third year donating a tree to the Everson Museum for its winter fundraiser. Our tree’s theme is “Humanlight.”

Why apple pie? One of Carl Sagan’s well-known quotes is, “If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.” If you’re feeling creative or industrious, bring an apple pie or an apple-pie-adjacent snack to share.

All are welcome. See you there!
