2026 Senior Thesis Exhibition

A tradition continues with Skidmore’s annual Studio Art majors’ Senior Thesis Exhibition, May 7–16, at the Tang Teaching Museum. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Skidmore College Art Department.

Forty-one senior Studio Art majors will be displaying their work as a capstone to their studies. The Art Department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing, painting, digital media, fiber arts, jewelry and metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

The event and exhibition is free and open to the public. An opening reception is scheduled from 6–8 pm on Friday, May 8.

Exhibition hours:
- Thursday, May 7, noon to 9 pm
- Friday, May 8, 9 am to 8 pm: Opening Reception 6 to 8 pm
- Saturday and Sunday, May 9 & 10, noon to 5 pm
- Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, May 11, 12 & 13, 9 am to 5 pm
- Thursday, May 14, 9 am to 9 pm
- Friday, May 15, 9 am to 6 pm
- Saturday, May 16, noon to 6 pm
