About
OFL's Meet Cute Book Club celebrates romance, from swoon-worthy historical tales to laugh-out-loud contemporary rom-coms. Each month, we'll dive into a new book and connect with fellow fans.
This month's selection: Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter
Running late on her first day at a dream job, Isabella Shay impetuously claims a pumpkin spice latte belonging to an "Amy" and accidentally spills it on the most attractive man she has ever seen. What starts as a promising, spark-filled meet-cute takes a disastrous turn when he calls her "Amy" as they part ways. The next morning, Izzy discovers the stranger is actually Blake Phillips, the arrogant VP of her new department, who is thoroughly unimpressed by her coffee theft and identity mix-up. Now, Izzy must navigate a messy workplace dynamic with a grumpy boss who holds her chaotic first impression against her.
