About
Troy Pig Out returns for 2026 on Sunday, August 16 from 12 PM to 5 PM in Downtown Troy. This annual BBQ-focused event features restaurants and pitmasters from across Downtown Troy competing for the title of 2026 Pig Out Champion.
Attendees can stroll through downtown, sampling $4–$5 signature dishes, creative bites, and local favorites from participating competitors, and vote for their favorites. The event includes food and drinks for purchase, live music, and entertainment.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Featured activities:
- Hot Dog Eating Contest (sponsored by Famous Lunch). Sign up at the BID booth on Broadway across from McAddy’s starting at 12pm. Two rounds take place at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Winners receive a trophy, a 2026 Pig Out hot dog hat, and a pair of tickets to the Killer's of Kill Tony Standup Tour.

- Blues for Breakfast (Ryan’s Wake Parking Lot, 403 River St): 3pm - 6pm
