Night Out For You Inc. is a nonprofit organization formed in 2016 to create customized experiences for adults undergoing cancer treatment, helping them remember who they are by forgetting their diagnosis for a few hours. Adults age 18 and over who are undergoing cancer treatment at the time of referral and have not previously received a similar donated experience are eligible for a Night Out with their loved ones.
Most recipients are based in the immediate Capital Region, though the organization has also arranged experiences for people in other parts of New York State. Experiences can range from concerts and spa days to sporting events and more. Each is based on the recipient’s request and typically includes transportation, dining, event admissions, and other special touches, offering joy and hope as they continue their cancer treatment.
