Introduction to the CNC Router

The course begins in our computer lab with an orientation to the basics of CNC: what CNC is, understanding the software workflow, and generating toolpaths. It includes hands-on work with the CNC where each student will design and create a simple nameplate and execute it on the machine. Students will become familiar with the basics of CNC operations.

This class is a prequel to our more advanced project-based CNC Router class.
