About this community
518.codes is a volunteer-run community for people who write code in New York's Capital Region. The group brings together developers for meetups, demo nights, and study groups across Albany, Troy, Schenectady, and Saratoga Springs. All are welcome—junior, senior, between jobs, or between languages. Anyone can host, and first-timers are always encouraged to join. The group is not a conference and has no sponsors or swag—just a friendly space to learn, connect, and support each other.
