Lake George Village Oktoberfest is a free-entry, family-friendly street festival held October 9th-11th, 2026 on Canada Street across from Shepard Park in Lake George, NY.
The event transforms downtown into a Bavarian-style celebration featuring nonstop German and polka music, traditional dancers, carnival rides, games, stein hoisting, keg tossing, pumpkin painting, and local artisan vendors.
Enjoy Bavarian food favorites like bratwurst, schnitzel, pretzels, potato pancakes, and more at the Adirondack Brewery Beer Garden, which also serves craft beer and non-alcoholic root beer. All food and beverages are cash only; ATMs are available onsite.
Lake George Oktoberfest is suitable for all ages, including children and well-behaved leashed dogs. Activities include:
