Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite contains some of the most beloved, familiar melodies in the Western world. Mr Sun, featuring Darol Anger on violins, Joe K. Walsh on mandolin, Grant Gordy on guitar, and Aidan O'Donnell on bass, draws inspiration from Duke Ellington's brilliant, sly and urbane re-interpretation of Tchaikovsky's Suite to salute and re-invent this wildly multi-faceted work through the lens of the American String Band.
