Worldclassmusic.live presents an evening of flamenco, Atlantic folk, and contemporary acoustic guitar.
Pipo Romero has created a distinctive instrumental voice through his Spanish acoustic fingerstyle. His innovative approach to the steel-string guitar fuses flamenco, banjo, and classical techniques, resulting in a rich, dynamic sound that bridges tradition and modernity.
His albums have gained recognition on global charts, with Folklórico (2017) reaching the Top 10 on the World Music Charts Europe and Ikigai (2022) and Alborada (2025) charting on the Transglobal World Music Chart. His compositions—cinematic, evocative, and deeply rooted in Spanish and Atlantic traditions—transport listeners through vibrant musical landscapes.
Using live looping, percussive techniques, and intricate melodic structures, Romero creates immersive soundscapes that highlight his artistic depth and unique approach to the acoustic guitar. By pushing the boundaries of instrumental music, Pipo Romero has established himself as one of Spain’s most original and innovative guitarists on the international stage.
