Community Diwali Festival

Bring the whole family to the library for a celebration of Diwali: The Festival of Lights! Hosted by members of our local Indian community, this program offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the rich traditions of this cultural holiday.

The program will feature storytelling, traditional music, a demonstration of Rangoli—the geometric floor patterns created to welcome good fortune—a hands-on display of traditional Diya oil lamps with LED lights, authentic festive clothing, sweet Diwali treats, and a brief walkthrough of how families decorate and celebrate in their homes.
