The Capital District Scottish Games will take place on September 5, 2026 at the Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY 12009.
The event features a variety of traditional Scottish activities and competitions, including:
- Pipe Band Events
- Highland Athletics
- Highland Dancing
- Stage Bands
- Children's Events
- Clans & Societies
- Charity golf tournament
- Import vendors
There are also opportunities for on-site camping, and information about hotels and lodging.
Tickets are available now. Admission is $25 at the gate, with free entry for children 12 years of age and younger. Free parking is provided. Veterans and active military receive a 50% discount on gate admissions by showing their ID at the gate; these discounts are only available at the gate on the day of admission and only to the veteran or active service member.
Contest registrations are available for Pipe Band, Solo Contests, and Highland Dance competitions. For more information or to register for contests, visit the event website.
