About
Eastbound Jesus is a Greenwich, NY-based band that has been playing its combination of high-energy bluegrass, country soul, and rock & roll grit—“Northern Rock,” as they call it—since 2010. They’ve gained a dedicated following throughout the Northeast, packing venues and playing festival stages around the region. Their sound has a raw authenticity that lends itself to the storytelling in their songwriting, making the songs feel instantly familiar and relatable. After years of playing together, they thrive in the live setting, with exciting shows and contagious energy.
Their annual two-day festival, the Eastbound Throwdown, draws around a thousand attendees each year to Irwin Farm in Salem, NY, where the band hosts and headlines both nights.
For Upstate NY-based singer and songwriter Rob Fleming, RHOSEWAY is the name of a creative solo project, a truth-telling reflection, and an artistic reaction to the choice to play music after years as a writer and performer in other projects. It’s an act of free expression through melody, progression, sounds, and words based on feel. The music comes from a renewed perspective: creating something from nothing.
While Rhoseway is a solo project on record, it will be performing as a trio for this show.
