Kathy Mattea: “Close Up”
April 4

Grammy winner Kathy Mattea brings her master musicians and songs to the Wood Theater for an evening of blockbuster hits and memories. The Grand Ole Opry star, also known for hosting her own Mountain Stage show on NPR, will perform classics like “18 Wheels and a Dozen Roses,” “Where’ve You Been,” “Come From the Heart,” “Time Passes By,” and “455 Rocket.”

Mattea, who had a major role in Ken Burns’ PBS Country Music documentary, will join Kevin Richards for a “Close Up” conversation after the show.
