Adult Class: Scandinavian Skies: Abstract Landscape Painting

Create a moody, Scandinavian-inspired abstract landscape using layers of muted color, expressive texture, and simplified natural forms. Participants will explore atmospheric painting techniques inspired by Nordic scenery, then add shimmering gold leaf accents to bring warmth, contrast, and a contemporary touch to their finished landscape. No previous painting experience is necessary.

This class is in celebration of the exhibition Scandinavian Home, currently on view through Feb. 28, 2027.
