About

MONOLOGUE & AUDITIONS WORKSHOP

Join us for a Monologue & Audition Workshop! Throughout the course of the workshop, instructor Jarel Davidow will work with participants on a monologue. While exploring your monologue in the workshop, you’ll learn and discuss topics like:

  • Cold Readings at Auditions
  • How to work with a Reader in Audition Room
  • Audition Preparation and Protocol
  • Breaking Down a Monologue – and Memorizing it!
  • Selecting & Approaching Monologues for Auditions
  • & More!

This workshop is open to all actors ages 16 and up at any experience level – we’ll meet you where you’re at! Even if you don’t have an audition coming soon, your work in this workshop will boost confidence and give you the knowledge you need for successful auditions in the future.

Jarel Davidow is currently Artistic Director at the Lake George Dinner Theatre and has acted and directed in numerous shows nationally. Locally, Jarel has served as an adjunct theater professor at SUNY Adirondack where he directed several productions. He has also directed shows for The Charles R.
