About
Learn to play the joyful Hawaiian instrument, and experience the magical feeling of making music with others!
Instructor Alexander Grandy, Folklife Center librarian Kevin Rogan, and Children’s Department library assistant Emma Rogan return for another round of free beginner ukulele classes. No experience playing ukulele is required.
Please register with Kevin Rogan (krogan@sals.edu) in advance.
Instruments are normally available for participants who need them, but all of the library's ukuleles are currently checked out. Participants with their own instruments can still sign up.
This series is produced by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library, funded in part by an anonymous donor, the Touba Family Foundation, and the New York State Council on the Arts - Folk Arts Program, with the support of the Governor's Office and the New York State Legislature.
