SUNY Adirondack hosts the Adirondack Native Plants Symposium. Two tracts: one for home gardeners and those who handle small-scale projects, and the other for institutional and municipal green infrastructure management. Learn how your garden, neighborhood or community spaces could better support birds, pollinators and future generations.

Featuring representatives from ITECA/University at Albany, NYS DOT and UVM, and Shanti Nagel, founder of Design Wild.

Registration is $25 for the public, and free for staff and students at SUNY institutions. Space is limited, so register online as soon as possible to reserve your seat.

This event is hosted by the SUNY Adirondack Agricultural Business Program and explores how native plants serve as living infrastructure by supporting biodiversity, strengthening climate resilience, reducing maintenance costs and enhancing community well-being.
