About

Paper Quilling: Slow and Steady Turtle🐢

Slow down, breathe deep, and let the paper curl.

In this calming quilling class, we'll create a beautiful framed turtle using rolled paper strips, layered textures, and earthy green tones. This design introduces a new shape and construction style, making it perfect for both first-time quillers and those who've taken quilling before and are ready for something fresh.

Beginners will learn the fundamentals of paper quilling — rolling, shaping, and gluing coils with confidence — while returning students will enjoy exploring a more organic, sculptural design that moves beyond traditional flat patterns. The turtle’s shell is built with layered coils and flowing lines, creating a rich, textured look that feels both meditative and expressive.

Turtles symbolize patience, protection, wisdom, and steady progress — and this class is designed to feel exactly like that: unhurried, grounding, and deeply satisfying.

You’ll leave with a finished framed artwork that’s ready to display or gift, plus new skills and ideas you can use in future quilling projects.

All supplies are included. No rush. No pressure.
