Get ready to observe, smell, and taste as we discover the steps to turn sap into syrup! A perfect program for homeschool families — geared for young children and their caregivers.
During a tour of our sugarbush and sugarhouse, you will learn the history of maple sugaring and how the process has changed from the times of the Indigenous Americans and colonial settlers. Through observing, touching, smelling, and tasting, participants will develop an understanding of the steps to turn sap into syrup.
Pre-registration required. $6 per person in addition to the per-vehicle Day Use Fee. Members free.
