Spice up your March with a heaping helping of fun at Bands and Beans — the biggest party in the North Country! Over twenty local restaurants will be serving their best chili, all vying for the People’s Choice Award. We’ve got nine bands on two stages playing all day long.
Proceeds benefit the Lake George Arts Project’s free and open-to-all music and art programs, including Courthouse Gallery exhibitions, the Summer Concert Series, and Jazz at the Lake (three-day Jazz Festival).

What your ticket includes
- Five hours of live music from nine bands on two stages
- Chili from local restaurants (the event page references 25 restaurants)
What your ticket does not include
- Beverages are not included. Water stations are available and there will be several cash bars selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Arrival, tickets, and logistics
- All tickets are will call. Your name and number of tickets will be at the door. Check in at the presale line to get your wristband.
- Doors to the Conference Center open at 1:30 pm. Doors to the Ballroom open at 1:45 pm. The first bands go on at 2:00 pm.
- Chili is served until it runs out.
- When you arrive you can park in the Fort William Henry lot; overflow parking is across the street. At the conference center, join the presale line or the day-of ticket line.
- Upon entry you'll receive a wristband, a voting chip (to pick your favorite chili), and a cup carrier. Staff and volunteers will direct you to the chili and music.
Family info
- The event leaves family decisions up to attendees. About 1,000 people attend over the course of the day. There are two main rooms for music and dancing and several smaller rooms with additional seating.
