About
We’ll explore some interesting history of the canal during our final Museum Monday of 2026.
Recognizing National Celery Month, let’s explore some fascinating history of this veggie and the canal during this “Spring Break” edition.
Agriculture in New York flourished because of the Erie Canal, and one unlikely success story is, of all things, Celery. We’ll stalk this history, share its celery-brity and enjoy some refreshments featuring the crisp delicious produce.
Informal discussion starts at 11:30am. Refreshments will be available, and the exhibit will be open until 1pm for you to explore.
