Peter Paul and Mary "Alive" performs a family-friendly concert for all venues — festivals, clubs, theaters, and private parties. This unique group has universal appeal, attracting all age groups since Peter, Paul and Mary first began in 1962.

Peter Paul and Mary Alive is the premiere Peter Paul & Mary tribute group in the country. Their theatrical show recreates the look, feel, and sound of one of the most successful folk groups of all time.

"Peter" is performed by Founder and Director Peter Gordon. Peter is a trained vocal professional and theatrical director who recently performed at the Venetian Hotel and Resort singing opera and light Italian favorites. He grew up in Millburn, New Jersey, where in high school he was a member and leader of the Millburnairs. It was there he met Lorre Wyatt and was influenced by Lorre's songs and guitar style. The music of Peter, Paul and Mary caught his attention in 7th grade; within days he purchased a guitar and began teaching himself to play, in addition to formal training on the violin. As a teenager he spent many weekends near Washington Square in NYC learning from masters like Pete Seeger, The Weavers, Phil Ochs, Tom Paxton, Dave Van Ronk, John Hammond, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Peter Paul and Mary. Fifteen years ago he read Max Lucado's "Cure for the Common Life," which inspired him to find his "sweet spot" — the result: "PETER PAUL AND MARY ALIVE!"

"Mary" is sung by Joanie Brown. Although new to the professional stage, Joanie's vocals are strong and beautiful, with the clarity and youthfulness of the early Mary Travers. She has sung and danced since childhood but pursued engineering and later natural medicine and acupuncture before returning to performance. Joanie has sung in several Las Vegas venues, including a Ribbon of Life – Golden Rainbow production and the showcase variety show Unstoppable with Guinness World Record holder Nino Frediani. Her progressive, compassionate nature resonates with the music's message of freedom, justice, and love. She is dedicated to helping "Carry It On"!

"Paul" is performed by Will Kruger. Will's style recalls many of his earliest folk influences, among them Peter, Paul and Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, and James Taylor. He has toured nationally with his "Folk Legend's Tribute Show" at house concerts, libraries, conservation events, coffee houses, corporate functions, and larger auditoriums, and has appeared at a number of Nashville venues. Four of his songs were featured in the films "God Where Are You" and "Grace Of The Father." He played the part of Noel Paul Stookey in the nationally touring Las Vegas tribute group "Peter Paul & Mary Alive" for several years and remains part of the team when not performing as a solo artist. He performs regularly in East Tennessee at venues such as The Smoky Mountain Brewery, The Listening Room Cafe, Calhoun's, and The Abbey, and has been playing music for over 50 years. "Music can convey emotion on so many levels," he says. "If I can communicate those things with my audience and touch their hearts, then all the work that I do is well worth it."

Ray studied double bass with Keith Robinson, Stuart Sankey, Steven Zlomke, and David Neubert. He started performing professionally in high school and college, took a break after his freshman year to pursue degrees in math and law, then returned to music. He retired from 40 years of lawyering in 2017 and is now fully engaged in playing, learning, and teaching music. Ray performs in many genres including symphonic, opera, ballet, chamber music, musical theater, jazz, bluegrass, Americana, and klezmer. He is a member of the Four Fights Per Pint bluegrass band and has been principal bass of the Mid-Texas Symphony since 1989. He also plays regularly with the Brazos Valley Symphony, Symphony of the Hills, Victoria Symphony, Corpus Christi Symphony, Temple Symphony, Waco Symphony, freelances in Austin and San Antonio, and teaches double bass and electric bass guitar. He is excited to join Peter, Paul and Mary Alive — truly a child of the '60s, for whom this music is "musical comfort food."
