About
"Wherever you run into it, prejudice always obscures the truth." ๐งโโ๏ธ
TWELVE ANGRY MEN (and/or JURORS) is our April reading!
This 1964 adaptation of a 1954 teleplay by Reginald Rose explores ideas of prejudice, justice, and class disparity in this courtroom drama where a jury of 12 must decide the fate of an inner-city teen on trial for premeditated murder.
- Location: The Cottage (enter through the game library sign).
- Start: 6:30 PM; roles will be assigned first-come, first-served.
- End: We will be wrapping up by 9:30 PM.
NB: Title says men but I will make it expressly clear that all are welcome (except ๐ง) and casting is always unrelated to gender/age/race/ability/etc.
Scripts & Sips (@scriptsnsipstroy on IG) is a community play reading night to gather, enjoy food and drink and company, and read a play together. Theatrical experience not required! Scripts & Sips is a time to gather with friends new and old and practice public speaking, get out for the night, and (maybe) read something new. We meet in The Cottage at Bard & Baker once a month.
