Wednesday Wonders of Science - "New Windows on the Universe - Part 2"

[All ages] Come learn about a fascinating aspect of science and the world around us. Our presenters will discuss a different topic each month.

In April: "New Windows on the Universe - Part 2." Humans have long observed the skies, but for the most part we have been restricted to using visible light. In the last few decades we have opened new windows via cosmic rays, gravitational waves and neutrinos. In this talk, we will "see" how cosmic rays and gravitational waves are being used to study the universe. Presented by Dr. Vivek Jain, Associate Professor of Physics at the University at Albany.
