Creative Expression for Kids

Creative Expression for Kids at Refuge is a program designed to invite and encourage children ages 6 - 11 to express themselves through movement, art, storytelling, and music. Programming runs from 9 am to 3 pm each day.

Our program is an invitation for the children to be themselves authentically and unashamed in all of their expressions and ways that they identify for themselves. Identity is a foundational aspect of creative expression; through expression we discover the story of who we are and learn what we have to say.

We have fun together making art, moving our bodies, dressing up with our expansive costume collection, experimenting with different art & building materials, playing music together, and storytelling.
