Back to School Celebration

Start the new school year off right with a visit to Bennington Museum! Admission is free for the day, thanks to sponsorship from Stewart’s Shops and the Vermont Country Store.

• Enjoy live music in the galleries from 12:30–2:30 with Vitalia Olson.
• Have fun with hands-on activities throughout the Museum from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Check out the Regional History Room, home of our research library, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
• While you’re in the RHR, see the H. C. White Co. display created by our high school summer curatorial intern, Laina Siclari.
• At 1:00, join curator Jamie Franklin for a tour of the North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show (NBOSS) with appearances by some of the artists.
• Teachers: show us your school ID for a 20% discount in the Museum Store, enter for a chance to win a Bennington Museum gift, and stop by our School Programs Information table to learn about what we have to offer.

Also, from 2:00–4:00 PM, the Museum will host an annual meeting and presentation of the Arnold Ricks Award for community service. Anyone is welcome to stop in to learn about the successes of our past year and get a preview of what we have coming up.
