Bob Stump Band

Bob Stump is a songwriter and performer raised in the suburbs of NYC. His music blends bluegrass, blues, country, rock, and jazz into a hybrid of Americana sounds. The traditional, old-school music fits the stories in his songs—you’ll hear the spirit of Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, Merle Travis, Big Bill Broonzy, and other roots musicians.

His song “The Rain Came Down” won first place in the instrumental category of The New England Song Contest. In his early days, he won flatpick guitar contests, and he continues to burn it up on stage. Virtuoso playing, storytelling, and showmanship set his band apart.
