In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore time-honored techniques and iconic recipes from around the world that bring family and friends together during the holidays.

From rolling and steaming traditional Latin American tamales to mastering crisp, golden Middle Eastern potato latkes, this class highlights the universal joy of holiday cooking. You’ll also practice delicate dumpling folding and finish on a sweet note with rich, melt-in-your-mouth Spanish holiday cookies.

Menu:
- Chicken Tamales with Salsa Roja (Mexico): Master spreading masa, filling and wrapping seasoned chicken in corn husks, then steaming the tamales until tender.
- Crispy Potato Latkes with Homemade Applesauce & Sour Cream (Israel): Learn techniques for removing moisture to achieve a crunchy outside and a light, flavorful inside.
- Steamed Shrimp & Chive Dumplings (East Asia): Practice folding and sealing delicate dough, then gently steam savory dumplings from scratch.
- Polvorones – Spanish Almond Cookies (Spain): Learn to make crumbly, toasted-almond holiday shortbread cookies dusted with powdered sugar.

Allergen and dietary notice: Chicken, dairy, gluten, corn, tree nuts, and egg will be used in class.
