Kintsugi Mended Heart Workshop

This hands-on workshop blends creativity and reflection through a Kintsugi-inspired art process. Participants will create a personalized heart artwork using brightly colored, hand-painted paper. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, you’ll intentionally tear your heart into pieces—symbolizing life’s challenges and lived experiences—then carefully reassemble it. Metallic gold accents are added to the “cracks,” transforming them into highlights that honor growth, strength, and resilience rather than hiding imperfections.
Your finished piece can be displayed as a magnet or ornament, serving as a meaningful reminder of self-compassion and resilience. No prior experience required; all materials provided.
