About
Join us at the ALBANY AFRO KONPA KIZOMBA FESTIVAL (AK)²F for a weekend of dancing, music, and cultural celebration!
Albany, New York
November 6–9, 2026
After the success of our first Albany Konpa Kizomba Weekender (Nov 7–10, 2025) and the incredible feedback from attendees, we’re bringing the vibes back, even higher and stronger. We’re doing it again on a bigger international festival level.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2026
A full 4-day dance festival with multiple party rooms:
- Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Tarraxa, Tarraxo, and Douceur Room

More rooms → More music → More vibes → More connections.
The festival will bring to Albany the same energy, family feeling, and fire vibes from the recent weekender, with a bigger turnout, more surprises, and an international lineup of DJs and instructors.
- International artists on the lineup
- DJs in every room
- Workshops during the day and socials until 5 AM
- Culture, music, joy, and family vibes
- Dancers from all backgrounds, cities, states, and countries united under one roof
