TOTAL MASS RETAIN returns to the Cohoes Music Hall on Friday, April 30, 2027, for its most ambitious concert yet: a complete live performance of the album TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS.

Recognized by YES and YesFans as the #1 YES Tribute Band, TMR has built a devoted following by bringing the music of YES to the stage with extraordinary attention to detail, musicianship, and passion. After their 2026 Cohoes concert, TMR returns with a show in very high demand, especially for longtime YES fans.

Released in 1973, Tales From Topographic Oceans remains one of the most ambitious—and most debated—albums in the YES catalog. Its four epic compositions span an entire double album, inspiring generations of listeners while challenging audiences with its scope, complexity, and musical scale. More than 52 years after the original Tales tour, Total Mass Retain will perform the album in its entirety.

TMR drummer Joe Cass explains:
