About

“Somewhere deep within the tree of winter there is still the life that produced last spring's beautiful leaves.” – Madame Jeanne Guyan

Capture the quiet beauty of winter in this 3-hour workshop with artist Nancy Lyons. Students will be introduced to graphite pencils and explore techniques such as shading, toning, and blending. Step by step, you’ll learn how to bring depth and atmosphere to your work, and by the end of the workshop, you’ll have completed a serene snow scene of graphite trees.

Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. A PDF copy of the supply list can be found in the workshop description.

Come ready to create, learn, and enjoy the meditative process of drawing from nature.
