Introduction to the CNC Router

Thursday, March 5th, 5:30-7:30pm

The course begins in our computer lab with an orientation to the basics of CNC (what is CNC, understanding the software workflow, and generating toolpaths). It includes hands-on work with the CNC: each student will make a design, create a simple nameplate, and execute it on the CNC. Students will become familiar with the basics of CNC operations.

This class is a prequel to our more advanced project-based CNC Router class.
