Community Theater is a restored historic, two-screen nonprofit cinema and community gathering place at 373 Main St. in Catskill. It presents films, filmmaker conversations, educational programs and community events. Its roots trace to the Nelida Theatre, which opened in 1888; the theater was rebuilt after a 1917 fire and later restored following its pandemic-era closure.
