About
2026 Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting
Friday, December 6 • Downtown Ballston Spa
The holiday season comes alive in the Village of Ballston Spa with this cherished annual tradition, hosted by the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association. Downtown Ballston Spa fills with lights, music, and community spirit.
The parade steps off at 6:30 PM, traveling south along Milton Avenue from the north side of the village to West High Street. Spectators can enjoy floats, decorated fire trucks, and community groups. The celebration continues in Wiswall Park, where Santa will arrive on an Eagle-Matt Lee Fire Company truck to light the village holiday tree.
In partnership with the Toys for Tots campaign, volunteers from the Ballston Spa Community Emergency Corps, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Marine Corps will collect new, unwrapped toys along the parade route and during the tree lighting for local children in need.
The event coincides with First Friday in Ballston Spa. Local shops and businesses will be open late with special activities and treats like hot cocoa and chowder. Free parking is available throughout the evening.
