Meet at the Carrick Road trailhead. Ages 16+. Celebrate Women’s History Month by joining us on this 3-mile round-trip hike to Hang Glider’s Cliff.
Learn about the first female New York State Paleontologist, Winnifred Goldring, and her connection to Thacher Park. Along the way, investigate some of Thacher’s coolest geologic spots and uncover the ancient history of the region.
Trails may be muddy; please wear appropriate footwear.
