Warren Miller’s “Days Off”
Location
About
Warren Miller’s Days Off marks the 77th installment of winter’s most beloved film tradition, and it asks a question only Warren Miller can answer: what do the world’s greatest ski athletes do on their days off?
Host Katie Burrell — professional leisure athlete, filmmaker, and certified ski industry lifer — has spent a decade turning her passion into her job. This year, she’s turning it back into passion. Following Katie on a globe-spanning journey, Days Off uncovers the unscripted joy that lives just beneath the surface of the industry: the runs that never make the competition results, the relationships forged in backcountry lodges, and the powder stashes known only to locals.
Locations featured include:
- Alaska (remote heli-skiing peaks) with Sam Kuch and Craig Murray
- Hokkaido, Japan with Jess Kimura
- Deer Valley
- Canada: Revelstoke, Whistler, Pemberton, and Banff
Days Off is a celebration of skiing for skiing’s sake.
