Pride Day at the New York State Museum

Join us for a vibrant and meaningful celebration of LGBTQ+ history, culture, and community. This special day of festivities is open to all and designed to engage visitors of every age with hands-on activities and a gallery tour.

Honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future, this event invites everyone to reflect on the journey toward love, equity, and justice—and to take pride in the progress we’ve made together.

Kick off the day with an array of joyful, hands-on activities inspired by our collections: coloring pages, pin-making, sash and fan designing, and more. With upbeat music and story time.
