About

Past Events

IAHM's resident Seanchaí, Claire Nolan, is back to celebrate Earth Day with Guardian of the Earth: The Rachel Carson Story.

Claire will bring to life the story of Rachel Carson, a marine biologist and nature writer who catalyzed the global environmental movement with her 1962 book Silent Spring.

Claire Nolan is a brilliant writer, storyteller, and historical re-enactor, and now our resident Seanchaí. Claire has written and performed several sold-out plays about women at the Irish American Heritage Museum's Flanagan Theater.

The Irish American Heritage Museum is grateful for the sponsors of this event:
- Common Roots Brewing Company
- ParkAlbany
- The Flanagan Family

On the day of the show, present your ticket at Common Roots Brewing Company and receive a special IAHM event offer — "BUY ONE/GET ONE" beverage.
