About
This Halloween, join Alex Harvey and Shinbone Alley for a spooky night of sea shanties, ghostly ballads, doomed sailors, lovesick dirges, and dark tales from the deep.
An old-world folklorist, Harvey brings to life the haunting maritime music of the 18th and 19th centuries—songs carried across oceans, traded in distant ports, and stitched together by sailors from every corner of the globe.
And this isn't just a show. You'll be singing, too. From eerie sea shanties and broadsheet ballads to Last Good Nights, hard-luck tales, whaling songs, and songs of shipwreck and loss, Shinbone Alley turns the room into one big, slightly haunted chorus.
So grab a drink or three, raise your voice with the ghosts of sailors past, and learn how to sing for the winds, the waves...and whatever might be lurking beneath them.
A spooky Sea Shanty Night with Shinbone Alley—Halloween costumes strongly encouraged.
All ages.
Doors open at 7:00 pm.
