Born out of the isolation of 2020, Neon Avenue emerged as more than just another Grateful Dead tribute — they became a band driven by connection, creativity, and the pure joy of live music. What began as a casual pandemic jam evolved into a group of Capital Region musicians with a shared chemistry that translates into powerful, high-energy performances fueled by deep improvisation and adventurous setlists.
Now bringing that energy to ButtonBall Barn on May 2, Neon Avenue draws from the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, and Ratdog catalogs, leaning into deeper cuts, extended jams, and a raw, dance-driven groove.
