Bread & Puppet Theater is kicking off its 63rd year by traversing the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard with a brand-new play created with director Peter Schumann for the exact moment at hand. As always, the piece will include puppets large and small, music, up-to-the-minute politics, and spectacles not to be missed.
After the show, Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli, and Bread & Puppet’s “Cheap Art” — books, posters, postcards, pamphlets, and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press — will be for sale.
Ticket pricing
Tickets to this event are offered on a sliding scale to allow everyone in the community to attend while helping equitably support the artists and ongoing programming. Each person is invited to choose a price that reflects their current financial circumstances.
- $75 – Pay-It-Forward Rate
- $60 – Supporter Rate
- $30 – Standard Rate
- $15 – Reduced Rate
Note: For community members with limited financial resources, donated Pay-It-Forward tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll reach out when a ticket is ready for you.
