Bread & Puppet Theater–Saturday April 4th, 2026 at 7PM

Puppet show! Puppet show! Bread & Puppet Theater is kicking off its 63rd year by traversing the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard with a brand-new play created with director Peter Schumann for the exact moment at hand. As always, the piece will include puppets large and small, music, up-to-the-minute politics, and spectacles not to be missed.

After the show, Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli, and Bread & Puppet’s “Cheap Art” — books, posters, postcards, pamphlets, and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press — will be for sale.

Ticket Pricing
Tickets to this event are offered on a sliding scale to allow everyone in our community to attend, regardless of financial situation, while helping us equitably support our artists and ongoing programming. Each person is invited to choose a price that reflects their current financial circumstances. Those wishing to support Hubbard Hall beyond their chosen ticket level are welcome to make an additional donation of any amount at checkout.

• $60 – Supporter Rate
• $30 – Standard Rate
• $15 – Reduced Rate

Note: For community members with limited financial resources, donated Pay-It-Forward tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Join the list here, and we’ll reach out when a ticket is ready for you.
