Mon, Sep 21 · 2:00 PMto4:00 PM

Location

301 Wakara Way · Salt Lake City, UT

About

Lisa Shakachite

Discover what it’s like to be a molecular biologist. Join Lisa in exploring the secret lives of our cells! Build your own cell and see if you can keep it alive as you tackle some challenges that real cells face in our bodies. Along the way, you’ll get a glimpse into how scientists figure out what our cells need to grow and survive, and how these tiny discoveries can help us understand disease.

Scientist in the Spotlight is held on the first and third Friday of each month from 2-4 p.m. The program allows Museum guests to meet real scientists and discuss their research. See program page below for additional scientists in the series.
