About
The 9/11 Project is an annual event dedicated to honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001, educating future generations, and bringing communities together through service. Hosted by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation, this immersive experience ensures that the lessons of 9/11 are never forgotten, inspiring all who attend to serve and lead with purpose.
The 9/11 Project will feature:
- Free parking and free admission to the public.
- An interactive exhibit with a photo and video timeline beginning in the late 1990s and taking viewers through the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001 and beyond.
- An exhibit hall where local service-oriented organizations can share the work they do and recruit volunteers.
- A gathering place for people to interact with local military, medical, fire, and police professionals.
- A Children’s Corner to create thank you cards for those who serve us.
- A parking lot full of law enforcement, medical, fire, and military vehicles for children and families to explore.
- Field trip opportunities for local students.
