About

Red Shahan is a future American legend with potential to conquer the world, least his wife, three kids, and close friends know so. Born in Bluff Dale, Texas back sometime in the early eighties, Red is an avid outdoorsman and dedicated Leatherman owner. He loves a good pachanga and can do several jumping jacks in a row. He used to rodeo at Western Texas College and got his start singing country songs in Lubbock, Texas. Heavily influenced by AC/DC and the Indigo Girls, his new songs and record sound nothing like them at all. Red is the real deal. Only a fool would miss an opportunity to dive into his songs.

Ronnie and The Redwoods is a West Texas Americana/Rock band blending raw, emotional songwriting with music rooted in the blues, folk, and country of the high plains. Honest and earthy, drawing from The White Stripes, Tyler Childers, John Prine, and the Red Dirt scene around them, they've carved out their own sound where Folk, Country, and Rock and Roll collide.

  • They've shared stages with Chance Peña, The Vandoliers, Kenny Feidler and the Cowboy Killers, Shane Smith and the Saints, Giovanni and the Hired Guns, Red Shahan, The Droptines, Kellen Smith, The Lowdown Drifters, American Aquarium, Rattlesnake Milk, Bowling for Soup, and many more.
