What do you get when you combine ZooBrew with BooLights? BrewLights! Back by popular demand, celebrate the spooky season at this popular ZooBrew event. Wear your best costume, sip chilling concoctions, and get ready for a spook-tacular time where eerie decorations and glowing lights transform Hogle Zoo into a bewitching venue of brews and boos.
BrewLights is your go-to spooky season event where every pour has a purpose.
Please note:
- ZooBrews are 21+ events. A valid state-issued physical photo ID or passport is required to enter the event. Guests will be turned away without a valid physical ID.
- In accordance with Utah liquor laws, guests can purchase and consume up to four alcoholic beverages per event.
- Some animals and areas may not be viewable during ZooBrew.
- ZooBrew events happen rain or shine.
What is ZooBrew?
- ZooBrews are adults-only (21+) events occurring on select evenings after the zoo closes to the public.
What to bring / entry info:
- A valid state-issued physical photo ID or passport and a valid ZooBrew admission ticket for that evening's event.
- Have all bags ready to be checked at entry.
- No outside beverages are permitted; you will be asked to empty water bottles before entering. There are water fountains throughout the zoo.
Members:
- Zoo members can use their membership discount to buy tickets for friends.
Tickets:
- Tickets will be sent to the email provided at checkout. The PDF can be scanned or added to your Apple Wallet.
- ZooBrew event tickets and drink wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event. Drink wristbands are only valid for the night you purchase them and do not roll over.
Drink wristbands and beverage info:
- We'll be using a non-transferable wristband system for alcoholic beverage purchases. A staff member must place the wristband at the time of purchase.
- Guests consuming alcohol must purchase a drink wristband before heading to the bars. Maximum of four alcoholic drinks per guest, per event.
- Drink wristbands will be available for purchase at Entry Plaza and Oasis Plaza from 6:30-8:45 PM.
- Drinks are $10 each. Cash and card accepted.
- If a guest removes or tampers with the drink wristband, it will void the drink purchases with no refund.
- You must be physically present at the bar and show your wristband to redeem your drink. You cannot get a drink for someone who is not physically present.
- Last call for drinks is at 9:10 PM. No alcohol is served after 9:15 PM.

- Hogle Zoo wants you to have fun like responsible party animals. We encourage all guests to be prepared with a rideshare or designated driver.
What to expect at ZooBrew:
- An adult-only, after-hours environment and a chance to see the zoo in a different way.
- Purchase brew-exclusive food and beverages, buy brew-exclusive art made by Hogle Zoo’s resident animals, and learn how to support the zoo’s conservation initiatives.
